Today’s historic woman is Mariah Powell

Prophetess Mariah Powell was born in Detroit, Michigan to Pastors Eric and Michelle Powell of House of Praise Deliverance and Outreach Ministries. The prophetic grace on her life was very powerful even as a child. Growing up in a strong Christian household she was exposed to the authentic power of the Holy Spirit at an early age. Though many times as a child she did not quite understand these prophetic encounters which came in the forms of dreams, visions, and visitations with Jesus she knew that the power she'd felt was far beyond her imagination.

At just 10 years old she gave her life to Christ. Although, she had given her life to Christ, through ignorance she did not know her purpose in the Kingdom of God. God continued to visit her often. Subsequently, she began to go down a path that was contrary to her walk with God.

She struggled with unhealthy relationships, rebellion, and anger. Seemingly, this took a toll on her life and her mind. At the age of 17 years old she rededicated her life back to God. In that moment he had completely delivered her from every stronghold that once threatened her. She became free.

Prophetess Powell's life was never the same. Her spiritual maturity as well as prophetic grace has increased in stature. God has set her before many different people from all walks of life. To the Glory of God her ministry has become inargubly used to witness people be healed, many receive salvation, and spiritual breakthroughs throughout the country.

Mariah Powell Ministries' travels the country spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ in churches, organizations, even in the streets. When she is not traveling she spends countless hours in the presence of God. At only 22 years old she has dedicated her life to the service of God and his people.

Her Salvation is proof that the supernatural power of Jesus can miraculously change anyone no matter the situation.
